Bohemia Experience (“Bohemia”, “we”) is a small hotel in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. This page explains what information we collect on bohemiacr.com and when you stay with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Booking and contact details you give us: name, email, phone, address, arrival time and requests.
• Payment card details for the deposit and balance described in our booking terms. Card details are stored encrypted, are only visible to authorized staff, and are erased shortly after your stay. We never store the security code (CVV).
• Ad click reference. If you reach our website from a Google ad, a click reference created by Google is kept in a cookie for 90 days, so we can tell which ad led to a booking. It does not contain your name or contact details.

How we use it

• To manage your booking and your stay, and to answer your messages.
• To take the payments you authorized.
• To send promotional updates, only if you agreed to receive them.
• To measure which of our ads lead to bookings. We may tell Google that an ad click led to a booking and its value. We never send your name, email or phone number to Google.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run your booking (for example, payment processing, email and tools that help us draft replies to your messages), or when required by law.

Our internal tools and Google

Our internal management system signs in with Google only to Bohemia’s own accounts: to read reservation emails in Bohemia’s reservations mailbox and to manage Bohemia’s own Google Ads account. Information received from Google APIs is used only for these purposes, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information, or to stop promotional messages, at any time. Write to reservations@bohemialodge.com.
